Return and Refund Policy

 Read K’marie Hair Company’s return, exchange, and refund rules for scalp-care products, including timelines, eligibility, and how to start a return.

We want you to love your scalp-care routine. Please read the details below so returns are easy and fair for everyone.


Overview

  • Opened/unopened or used personal-care products (e.g., serums, butters, shampoo bars) are not eligible for return due to health and hygiene reasons—unless the item arrived damaged/defective. 
  • Exchanges: If you received the wrong item or a defective product, we’ll replace it at no cost.


How to Start a Return

  1. Email support@kmariehaircompany.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. If approved, we’ll send return instructions and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
  3. Ship the item in original packaging with all inserts/accessories. Keep your return tracking for your records.


Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, wrong item), we cover the return shipping or provide a prepaid label.
  • For all other returns (change of mind, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping.


Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the return, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.


Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

  • Opened/used personal-care items, gift cards, clearance items marked Final Sale, and custom bundles are not returnable (except for defects/damage). 


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.


Allergies & Sensitivities

  • Always perform a patch test before full use. If you experience irritation, discontinue use and consult a professional. For safety reasons we cannot accept returns of used products; however, contact us and we’ll do our best to help with guidance and options.


Chargebacks

  • If something isn’t right, please contact us first—we’ll make it right per this policy. Filing a chargeback before reaching out may delay your resolution.


Legal Notes

  • We follow the FTC Mail/Internet Order Rule for shipping delays and refunds for unshipped goods. 
  • U.S. law doesn’t mandate that retailers accept returns, but clear, conspicuous policies are expected; this page is our policy. 
  • If we issue a refund, we handle any required sales-tax adjustments per North Carolina rules.
