We want you to love your scalp-care routine. Please read the details below so returns are easy and fair for everyone.
Overview
- Opened/unopened or used personal-care products (e.g., serums, butters, shampoo bars) are not eligible for return due to health and hygiene reasons—unless the item arrived damaged/defective.
- Exchanges: If you received the wrong item or a defective product, we’ll replace it at no cost.
How to Start a Return
- Email support@kmariehaircompany.com with your order number and reason for return.
- If approved, we’ll send return instructions and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
- Ship the item in original packaging with all inserts/accessories. Keep your return tracking for your records.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to our error (defective, damaged, wrong item), we cover the return shipping or provide a prepaid label.
- For all other returns (change of mind, etc.), the customer is responsible for return shipping.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect the return, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items
- Opened/used personal-care items, gift cards, clearance items marked Final Sale, and custom bundles are not returnable (except for defects/damage).
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
Allergies & Sensitivities
- Always perform a patch test before full use. If you experience irritation, discontinue use and consult a professional. For safety reasons we cannot accept returns of used products; however, contact us and we’ll do our best to help with guidance and options.
Chargebacks
- If something isn’t right, please contact us first—we’ll make it right per this policy. Filing a chargeback before reaching out may delay your resolution.
Legal Notes
- We follow the FTC Mail/Internet Order Rule for shipping delays and refunds for unshipped goods.
- U.S. law doesn’t mandate that retailers accept returns, but clear, conspicuous policies are expected; this page is our policy.
- If we issue a refund, we handle any required sales-tax adjustments per North Carolina rules.
